About
Denny Irawan (31) is a Senior Economist at Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil company. He was previously Head of Research and Economics at PwC Indonesia and Chief Economist at Samudera Indonesia. He spent ten years as an economic researcher and consultant at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM) and one year as a lecturer at the Department of Economics, both at Universitas Indonesia.
Denny finished his PhD in economics at The Australian National University and has engaged in more than 60 research and consulting projects. His research and consulting experience focuses mainly on macro, financial, energy, and renewable economics. He has published in reputable international journals such as Energy Economics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and Geoderma. He has also passed CFA Level 1 exam.
Furthermore, Denny also holds research affiliate status at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM) at Universitas Indonesia and the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) at The Australian National University.
