Denny Irawan (32) is a Senior Economist at Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil company. Prior to this, he served as the Head of Research and Economics at PwC Indonesia and held the position of Chief Economist at Samudera Indonesia. He also spent a decade as an economic researcher and consultant at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM) and contributed as a lecturer at the Department of Economics, Universitas Indonesia.

Denny earned his Ph.D. in Economics from The Australian National University. Over his career, he has involved in more than 60 research and consulting projects, with a primary focus on macroeconomics, financial markets, energy, and renewable economics. His work has been published in leading international journals, including Energy Economics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and Geoderma. Additionally, he has successfully passed the CFA Level 1 examination.
